Welcome to First Presbyterian Church! We are an active, growing church located in Beaver, PA. and serving Beaver County. We have a dynamic staff, active members and exciting programs for all ages.
First Presbyterian Church celebrated two hundred years of ministry in 1998. Our rich history offers strength, stability and tradition. Yet we have been able to adapt to the times in which we live, allowing us to add innovation to our historic traditions.
First Presbyterian offers the benefits of a large congregation with a small church flair. Our youth and children's ministries are excellent. Our music ministry is well known for its integrity and personalism. Our commitment to mission, long an important part of our church, is being strengthened by significant hands-on experiences. Our newly adopted commitment to small groups will allow us to "stay small while growing large."
We realize that everybody who visits a church is looking for something different. Some want to explore their faith in a non-pushy environment; others seek healing from hurt, or ministry to their children or young people; some look for a particular style of teaching, music or worship.
We believe that God has a place for you somewhere, even if this is not the church for you. We would like to help you find your place, and to answer any questions you may have. Welcome to first Presbyterian.
First Presbyterian Church is a special church, drawing not just from Beaver but also from the Beaver County area. We have members from Center, Brighton Township, Beaver Falls and Chippewa, among others.

This summer the Adult Education Committee is hosting a three-week series to specifically address women's ordination. The series is titled "Women in Ministry?" This event will be held on Sundays, July 12, 19 & 26, at 6pm in the Commons. We invite you to participate in this informative discussion and enjoy ice cream sundaes with us as well!
Mission Fundraising Concert
with Linda Moore on Sunday, July 19th, at 7pm in the sanctuary. The concert will include voice, piano and guitar music. A free-will offering will be taken. Please come support Linda and enjoy an evening of music, desserts and fellowship. Nicaragua Child Sponsorship Program
