  • Our Summer Worship Schedule begins June 1:

        9 AM Worship in Fellowship Hall

        10 AM Summer Fellowship on the Front Lawn

        11 AM Worship in Sanctuary

  • Summer Fellowship Hour coming every Sunday morning June 1-August, 10 to 11 AM. Plan to join us on the front lawn of the church. Bring the whole family… catch up with old friends, meet new ones and enjoy refreshments! Note: We are still looking for committees/small groups to serve by hosting 2 more available Sundays.   • FPC Block Party coming in a week! We are kicking off the summer on Saturday afternoon, May 31, from 11-2. This will be a celebration for ALL AGES and we are inviting the community! Visit fpcbeaver.com/events for more information. And see how you can participate in this fun day!

  • The Assoc. Pastor of Adult Discipleship position is now bring advertised, and we are receiving applications. Please continue to pray for wisdom and discernment for our search team as we seek the person God is calling to serve in this important role. Position is posted at fpcbeaver.com/careers.

  • FPC Meal Ministry! Various times throughout the year, members of our church body could benefit from receiving a meal. If you’d like to bless others in this way - please email Ron Cepek at ron.cepek@gmail.com.

  • This Backpack Program has come to an end. Donations will resume again in September and you will see advertising.

  • The Welcome Home Ministry is an outreach helping provide furniture and resources to empower people to start over when they have experienced loss and hardship. We are currently in need of: bed frames, dressers, small dining tables, and small love seats. Contact Stephanie Boyd at the church (sboyd@fpcbeaver.com).   • A new ministry to our county: Community Home Rehabilitation Crew (CHRC). We intend to provide home repairs for individuals in our county. If you wish to be part of this volunteer ministry--handy or not--please head to our website for more information, to volunteer or to make a donation (CHRCrew.org). For questions or you're in need of a simple home repair, contact Dale Yakish (daleyakish@gmail.com) or Pastor Arnold (pastorjeffarnold@gmail.com). 

  • If you or a loved one want the Pastoral Staff to know that you need care or a visit, email us at hospital@fpcbeaver.com. If you do not have access to email, contact the church office so that the pastor on call can be contacted.

  • Stephen Ministers are waiting: Don’t struggle alone… Stephen Ministers are available to walk with you. Call 412-974-3168.

  • Please fill out our Pew Pads on Sunday mornings! We pass these around during offering time—please fill these out EVERY Sunday so we can be sure you stay current in our records and receive our mailings. Whether you are a member, regular attendee or a visitor - there is a lot going on here at FPC, we don’t want to miss anyone.

  • The Adult Discipleship Committee is asking the congregation to fill out the below survey about Adult Sunday School. This helps us to further develop our Sunday School Ministry. Click here.

  • Register NOW for VBS! Make your plans for June 16-19, 9:15-11:30 AM, for incoming preK-5th grade (must be 4 by Aug. 31). Register here or visit the Connections Spot. Also, we are still collecting paper towel tubes for one of our crafts, we will need about 90!! Contact Marion with questions.

  • Young Adult's (singles, couples, young professionals, college-aged) are invited to a lunch coming Sunday, May 25, from 12:30-2 PM. Mark your calendars for this being held at the Verrett home (100 Mason Lane, Beaver). Registration coming to fpcbeaver.com/events.

  • Young Adult Summer Bible Study: All young adults (singles, couples, young professionals, college-aged) are invited to join us on Monday evenings at 7 PM, beginning June 9. Sign up at fpcbeaver.com/events.

  • A Young Women’s Book Study lead by Martha Schartner and Nita Dempsey. Book is titled Sex and the Single Girl, a study that goes beyond “just don’t do it.” Find all the details and sign up at fpcbeaver.com/events.  

  • Women’s Summer Bible Study, Tuesdays evenings, 7-8:45, June 10-July 29. Plan ahead to join us as we dive into the book, “Waiting Isn’t a Waste” by Mark Vroegop. Details and sign up at fpcbeaver.com/events

  • 1 more week for Deacons offering scholarships for children attending Christian summer camps, regardless of financial status. For details and to apply, click here! If you want to give to help support this ministry, please give to the church and designate your donation for the Deacons fund. Deadline is June 1!

  • FPC will be doing a sermon series this summer/fall on Off the Beaten Track Psalms. If you would like to share a meaningful experience connected to a Psalm, please contact Jeff at pastorjeffarnold@gmail.com.

  • The International Mission Committee (IMC) at FPC is seeking new members. The new committee chair is looking to grow the committee. Please contact Becky Antitomas (bantitomas@gmail.com).

  • Domestic Mission Committee seeks new members! Our Domestic Mission Committee represents FPC to mostly Beaver County mission partners. We are looking for new members. If you wish to join us you may speak to chair Dale Cottrill (dale.cottrill@comcast.net).

  • The Technology Crew is still in need of additional volunteers. Areas of need include audio production, video production, computer graphics and video streaming. No specific skills are necessary, and training will be provided. There is an increased need for part-time and substitute volunteers for the 9 AM Fellowship Hall services, although volunteers for any of our services are welcomed.   • Church Safety: Interested in volunteering to be part of teams that help make FPC safe on Sunday mornings? Contact Jeff Arnold (pastorjeffarnold@gmail.com) for more information. 

Adult Information

  • Get plugged into a Small Group – This is an excellent opportunity to study scripture, pray with others and learn to live together in loving and caring communities. If you are not currently in a small group and would like to be in one as we come into the  fall, we encourage you to register here. You can choose to register for a men’s, women’s, or co-ed group. Contact Stephanie Boyd with questions.

  • Men’s Ministry here at FPC! Get involved in a men’s discipleship group. You can sign up here and join in anytime!

  • Faith in Action is still in need of more volunteer drivers! NO requirement of how many rides you would need to provide - as this volunteer program is very flexible. Contact Carla McKrell at (814) 450-3985. Driving is mainly within Beaver and Brighton Twp. (Faith in Action is a special ministry that provides rides to older citizens who are shut in. Generally, these rides are provided for those 60 and over.)

  • Looking for Greeters! An easy and rewarding way to serve with a smile. If you’re already here on Sunday mornings – why not bring joy by welcoming congregants into worship. It is a once-a-month opportunity to serve. We are looking for 4 volunteers for the 11:15 Sanctuary service. Contact Lucinda (lpelka@fpcbeaver.com).

High School & Middle School:

  • High School Youth (grades 9-12) Summer Weekly Dinners, from 6-8 PM, begins on June 24. We meet at different homes. The schedule and locations on our calendar.

  • Middle School Youth (grades 6-8) Summer Weekly Wednesdays, 11 AM-1 PM, begins on June 25. Bring a packed lunch and meet in Fellowship Hall for games and looking at what it means to be a Christ centered community.
