Communicycle
Communicycle’s primary motivation is to follow Jesus’ command to love and serve our neighbors through the distribution of repaired donated bicycles. Communicycle uses bikes to bring people and like-minded community organizations together to maximize the opportunity for real and lasting change in both individual lives and entire communities. This organization runs completely on volunteers who typically work for 4 to 5 days per week from cleaning bikes to repairing, organizing, helping at bike distribution events, and welcoming visitors in their Monaca shop space. In 2025, Communicyle distributed 2,400 bikes to individuals. Communicycle sees its daily work as a hands-on expression of Christ’s love by meeting real needs through the gift of a bicycle; the organization’s hope is to show people that they are seen, valued, and cared for.
