Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
- 1 John 3:18
As we draw near to God, we cannot help but see the love He has for our neighbors. And in the Christ-centered life, that will drive us to actively caring for the people God loves so much. This is an online resource to help you do just that.
We’ve divided this up into:
Also, each opportunity will give an indication as to whether it’s geared more toward involvement by an individual, an entire small group, or both.
Lastly, you’ll see whether each opportunity is more short-term or long-term (calling for an extended commitment).
We hope this is helpful for all of you. In no way is this meant to be giving you the only ways you can reach out with God’s love. These are some ideas that are intended to get the ball rolling. Hopefully, this will help you discover that the life devoted to others in Jesus Christ truly is the best life.

Carpenter's CHORE (Comfort & Hope OutReach Evangelism)
During the Spring, Summer, & Fall, a team of volunteers go out mid-week, every week, to fix and clean houses of folks in our community who can’t do it themselves. God’s love is shared in action, and we always take the opportunity to tell the owners why we’re there: that we’re loving them because God loves them. NO SKILL REQUIRED! We’re just looking for willing hearts.
